Barbara Gamlin is a partner in Severide Staplin Gamlin LLP. She received an undergraduate degree in history and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 1979 and has since practiced law in Langley.
Barbara initially practiced trial work, mainly in the area of family law and family law mediation. In the late 1980’s, her practice focus shifted to corporate and business law and wills and estates, and she has practiced in these areas since that time.
Barbara is experienced in incorporating and reorganizing companies and societies, shareholder agreements and partnership agreements, business buy-sell agreements, and commercial leases. She has also worked extensively in the areas of estate planning, wills, and estate administration.
Barbara is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and is a past president of the Langley Ishtar Transition Housing Society and of the Langley YM-YWCA . |
